1900	1999-05-19 12:31:00	I have a PC which frequently, (although not always) locks up just after the 'Updating ESCD' message appears. If the PC doesnt lock up at this point it will boot mormally. It will also sometimes be unable to detect the hard drive and/or the cdrom. The PC also has a modem which is not detected by the hardware wizard. However an unknown PCI device is listed in the Device Manager List. Once the PC starts windows, OSR 2.5, it will reboot normaly. It will also start normally if left off for a short period of time, (up 20 minutes), after a long shutdown period it will always stall at the ESCD message.	Guest (0)
