| 1871 | 1999-05-15 12:47:00 | Dear Peter Cooke Somehow I do not seem to come to grips with your tip to add a search box to my desktop. Altavista and msn seem not to provide the code needed. I tried with your sample and I get the code into a notepad document and then on the the desktop but then? Where do you select 'create active desktop here' from? Am I really so stupid as not to be able to do it? All I get when I right click the desktop and then choose web and then I somehow subscribe to something but it is not what I want. I think the idea of the search box on the desktop great. I got all the mod cons so it should not be a problem. Can you please explain again? Thank you very much. Robert Koller |
