| 1922 | 1999-05-24 00:33:00 | I am running Macafee Virus Shield and recently a message saying that I had 3 months to download free upgrades of Virus Scan. I clicked on the link on the message and when I got to the site I got an 'out of memory' warning when the download was attempted. This has happened a couple of times on the same site. I am running a Cyrex 233 mH processor with 32MB of RAM and 3GB hard drive with Windows 98 Plus, and am using Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. I was running no other programmes but the Close Program window <cntrl,alt,delete> lists explorer, Vshwin,Rundll,Systray, cmmpu as well as Internet Explorer. I have seen a possible cure for this problem but can't remember what or where. Got your email address from Net Guide. Can you help please Ian Webster |
