| 1920 | 1999-05-20 21:37:00 | I was sold a pc 12 months ago with the above motherboard in it. At the time I went with 32MB ram thinking I would add more later. I want to add more now but have been told that 32MB SD ram is the most it will take. My question is this - a new machine sold 12mths ago should have been able to take more SD ram than this, shouldn't it? If so, have I been sold an old motherboard? If it was old 12 months ago, how do I find out when it was manufactured? Is it reasonable for me to expect that I should be able to add more ram than 32MB? |
