I have a Celeron 400 PC running Windows 98. At times when entering data, I find that the computer freezes, allowing no further data entry. When I close the programmeand then try to reopen it, or any other programme, all that I get is the properties menu for that particular programme. When I try to shut down the compputer using the start button, the start button menu will not stay on screen. I have to shut the computerdown using the reset button. The problem seems to occur mainly after coming off line, which leads me to think that it may be related to IE4. |
