| 1919 | 1999-05-21 23:00:00 | I have recently upgraded my PC's hard disk and ram significantly (to what it wa before) to my Pentium Classic 75 after being struck by Cherynobyl. After re-installing Windows 95 (version C I believe) I have being repeatably struck by this 'Registry Problem' requiring me to restart my computer - on some occasions I get the 'Restore Backup and Restart' message. Is there anyway to stop this annoying problem as it pops up out of no-where after silly little commands (like running WinAmp for instance). There is no possibe treat of viruses as I have Norton AntiVirus 5.0 (with the updates). I have IE5 installed but it has being causing this problem even before I installed it. |
