My OS is Win 98, pre installed with PC purchase back in Nov.98. Every time I select restart from shut down menu it results in start up report that Win was not shut down properly and option of running of scandisk. However, this sequence does not occur when selecting restart prompt resulting from system setting changes/software install. How can I remove this annoying Prob, which if I recall correctly has existed since day one. Is it a Prob with scandisk? Thanks for any tips offered. :) |
