| 2040 | 1999-06-07 05:44:00 | I just attempted to load Norton Antivirus 2.0 onto a new(ish) PC. The installation progressed smoothly until it came time to restart the computer so that the new settings could be intitiated. At this point, the installation froze at the 'Continuing to Load Windows' prompt. After waiting a while, I Ctrl-Alt-Deleted and deleted NAV using the 'Add/Remove Programs' utility in Safe Mode. I was able to restart normally after this. What happened? I am running Win98 on a P333 with 64mb of RAM and a 4.0 Gb hard drive. Thanks, Ed King |
