2111 1999-06-11 02:38:00 I'm currently running Windows95 on my PC at home. I have a lot of Dos programs which can be run through a Dos menu Shell. Unfortunately, even though the Dosmenu program opens when starting the PC, as soon as I make a selection, Windows takes over and loads itself.
I have taken the 'Path' section out of the MSDos.sys file which shows where all the windows files are and now I can operate the Dosmenu without any problems. No problem that is except when I select the load Windows command, I then get an error message saying Windows can't be loaded as the VFAT file is either corrupt or not accessable.
Is there any way I can chose at startup whether to load windows or just go to Dos, other than using the F8 function key.
If you don't have any suggestions, have you any information on the DEBUG function which allows the computer to reboot itself using a different Autoexec, bat and Config.sys
Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer.
