| 2067 | 1999-06-09 02:10:00 | to toni walkey some mother boards parallel ports are not true ecp epp ports and when you hook up scanner and printer to share things dont work very well eg locking up poor or slow scanning etc with out knowing your mother board type etc it is hard to say i had the same problem with a 166 pentium so to cure the fault was to install a separate parallel card and disable your on board parallel port via your bios set up then it should work rob duthie rd electronics ps hope this helps you |
