| 2133 | 1999-06-14 02:30:00 | I have a 56k mdem on a K2-350 Win98, which never connects faster than 32k from here, usually 28k8 But trying to download PC-cillin6 [7.25Mb] was a nightmare even with 'GetRight', as the rates varied between 4 and 0.5k, averaging 1.6k 1st atteppt and 2.6 on the successful 3rd try, which took 1h 15s!!!!! Helpxtra's lineman improved things slightly, and I'm trying to work mtuspeed95, so far with no improvement. Any ideas [simple ones for a simple fella!] PLEEZE? |
