| 2223 | 1999-06-22 09:58:00 | After installing the above PCI card my system now hangs when colour mode is anything higher than 256 colours. This usually happens when loading web pages or playing movies. I am running Win95. Am using windows drivers supplied with card. Have tried installing latest drivers from Creative website but this only seems to make the problem worse (Windows does not even start sometimes). Have also tried inserting card into another PCI slot. System specs: Intel Pentium 200Mhz processor 64Mb RAM Plenty of disk space free Plug and Play Monitor (VESA DDC) PH5 PCI Main board Previously had a Trident 9440 PCI card. I have been told I may need to upgrade to Win98 but the card is advertised as being OK to use with Win95. |
