| 2363 | 1999-07-08 00:28:00 | I am experiencing problems accessing my floppy drive from Windows 95. When try to access my system either hangs or I get a blue screen with 'Error reading disk message insert disk serial numberxxx and press enter or escape' Press escape and error message disk in drive is not formatted appears. I can read the disk fine if start PC in dos mode. One thing I have noticed is that when windows desktop appears the drive light on floppy comes on and stays on. I have checked cable connections and tried removing floppy controller in Windows to let Windows re detect it but no luck. What else do you suggest? |
