| 2333 | 1999-07-04 19:49:00 | I am wanting to change the OS on my Thinkpad from NT4 to Win98 so as to be able to use my USB devices (as well as play some games!) I have tried to install it via NT but I am told to reboot in Dos and install it there. As it is NT there is no dos installed on the computer- I can get to the command prompt, but as this is run within NT4, it wont accept this as an alternative. How can I install Win98 in such a situation. I would prefer not to have to reformat the harddrive to do this, but I would be willing to do so if that is what is required. What files would I need to save to disk (so as to reinstall them in win98? Thanks ed |
