1258472 2012-02-10 03:16:00 Just a quick question? (hopefully not dumb) Is it ok to use Android tablet plugged into mains with a power extension lead when at home with it? Just like laptop?

1258473 2012-02-10 03:42:00 Can't see why not, it'll slow down the charging but that's about all. dugimodo (138)

1258476 2012-02-10 05:21:00 I know for instance that the power supply on my Asus Eee-PC is a 'switching' type so it is supposed to actually shut off when (either) the battery is satisfied or the little plug is pulled out and the power supply is still left plugged in.

So - I'd say yes that it's do-able and prolly safe.

Hey - LL! What's the time capacity on that brand Eee you have when the battery's full-up n'charged?

Only had it 5 minutes and you expect a battery performance test? Hard to say, is that with it being used on Wireless for three hours or in sleep mode?

On the little battery icon, if you hover over it it will tell you the time it has left.

Yeah, Chill - I get about 14 hours on a fresh charge too even after a couple of years using this lil' guy. I load movies onto USB stix and play them when I'm out n' about or sitting in a waiting room somewhere.
