| 1258355 | 2012-02-09 21:41:00 | All my peripherals connected through USB have not worked since boot-up this morning. I have checked BIOS and all is enabled. Any ideas on what to look at next. | Richard (739) | ||

Restart pc and it will redetect the USB ports and install the drivers again. Hopefully USB devices will also be reinstalled and start working again. |

| 1258357 | 2012-02-09 22:32:00 | Hi CYaBro. I tried uninstalling the root hubs and host controllers, but all I get is the 'not responding' message after a few minutes. | Richard (739) | ||

| 1258360 | 2012-02-10 20:40:00 | Perhaps shut down and unplug your USB devices, then start up again. Then, shut down and plug them back in, start up and see if they work. Since nothing on USB works it could be a sign that the USB power rail from your PSU has issues. |

I guess I will have to take it in next week, as I doubt now that it is a DIY job. Thanks anyway. :thanks | Richard (739) | ||
| 1258362 | 2012-02-10 23:49:00 | Fixed it! Used the old Sky TV trick of closing down computer, removing power plug from the back, waiting a couple of minutes, and powering back up again. Seems it resets something in the power supply, as all is now working. Ah, the mysteries of electronics. | Richard (739) | ||
