(living too far away from Dad's wallet does have it's advantages for me) Told on the 16th of Jan it would be connected within 10 days ... kept calling them after that and got hung up on 3 times. On Wednesday last week, 1st Feb, she was told it would be connected by 10am the next morning ... it wasn't. Phoned again, told it would be connected by 10am Friday morning ... it wasn't. Phoned my daughter yesterday and got her to put my name on the account as well. I phoned them this morning and told it was all hooked up on the 2nd of Feb ... drove 30 min to my daughters place and couldn't get connected ... phoned tech support and told it was a paperwork problem ... asked to speak to supervisor ... hung up on. Called to cancel the account and told they couldn't because it wasn't operational yet ... waited 40 minutes for a call back from manager ... no call ... I am sitting quietly having a namesake ... or three ... getting ready for the final round this evening ... I am more than a tad annoyed ... :angry Funny thing is, my son organised his connection on the same day and had his up and running 3 days later .... So for those of you out there considering Slingshit as an ISP ... you DON'T get what you pay for ... they take your money under false pretences and then leave you hanging ... |

I've probably called customer service about 5 times today ... tech support 4 times ... cancel account twice ... there's NO getting through to these muppet donkeys ... I am however attempting to contact "ANONYMOUS" to see if they can bring down the slingshit site and give them MY number to phone for tech support to get them back up and running ... :D | SP8's (9836) | ||
| 1257853 | 2012-02-07 04:30:00 | I tried to get to talk to someone above the slaves when I was tryin to argue that I didnt need the debt collectors after me cos i was being billed after I ended my service (if you can call it that) with them 5 months after. Useless ****wits. Good luck but a quick google will bring up many stories of them screwing everyone for that extra dollar. They will charge a disconnection fee btw. It took us a month to get connected in the first place because they had a "paperwork" problem. Just a joke really. |

Go to this site for an email address, an 0800 phone number and a physical address. www.slingshot.co.nz This site sets out their complaints procedures and you may be able to bypass the JAFA slaves or their pawns as you originally described them. |
