| 1257828 | 2012-02-06 23:56:00 | Any comments on the above? Have been thinking of upgrading my old Telecom supplied DLink302G for some time. $150 from Noel Leeming Get good speeds (7800 bps) with the old DLink - would I expect better with the Linksys? No our cabinet is not ADSL2+ enabled. Cheers |

| 1257831 | 2012-02-07 01:04:00 | I take it you meant 7800kbps? in which case it's just under the 8M max for ADSL. Are you sure the cabinet isn't ADSL2+ though? most are now and with the D-Link you wouldn't know because they won't go over 8M either. Chill generally recommends the netcomm NB6Plus4Wn and people seem to like them. I had a WAG160N myself and it worked well until it just simply died one day. |

| 1257833 | 2012-02-07 03:10:00 | I owned a WAG160N, very similar modem to the 120, wouldn't touch any of that series with a 40 ft barge pole, horribly unreliable things if you are a heavy user. Look for a Netcomm or a TP-Link. | wratterus (105) | ||
| 1257834 | 2012-02-07 18:15:00 | I'll echo wratterus sentiments. For some reason when Linksys try and put ADSL and Wifi into the same device, it just doesn't end up right... Don't go near them. You can check your availability here: www.chorus.co.nz |
