1233485 2011-09-25 20:28:00 Nissan skyline.....Probably one of the most often stolen cars in NZ....... and watched constantly by the police for boy racers etc.

Wouldn't touch one!

This model uses the V6 using rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, most think the 300/350 is better but cost more

Have had 2 Maxima's still have one and generally Nissan are very reliable

1233487 2011-09-25 21:12:00 The Nissan VQ motors have got top motor of the year awards a few times. Probably no rocket ship, but should be reliable and comfortable enough. They are the same as the Stagea Wagon chassis and interior wise I believe. Alex B (15479)

1233489 2011-09-25 21:18:00 Have to agree, with the reliability for nissan is good. Had 1 maxima 1990 model myself, should never have sold it. Get a GTR, good resale value Gobe1 (6290)
1233490 2011-09-25 21:20:00 Our skyline has cost a shitload to keep running.

I personally wouldn't buy another Nissan, But then I wouldn't have bought the one we have.

that is because the new skyline is a luxury + sports car.

So its both not just sports.

1233493 2011-09-27 07:01:00 Had a Nissan once. A hose went, OK, changed it, what a mission, then another started to go, to replace them all meant removing the motor, stuff that, flogged it off and bought a Toyota, stuck with Toyota since. pctek (84)
