1258599 2012-02-12 01:30:00 You didn't need to install Ubuntu, only run from the live CD without installing ( try Ubuntu, from memory) - its the first option when you boot the ubuntu CD.

Anyway -- have a read of This article here (www.dedoimedo.com) Down near the bottom of the page, look for the part that starts off with "Boot Windows Oops, we get this horrible error! "
Follow through what it says.

What should have been tried is as I said, look at the top of that article starting with "Boot into Ubuntu live CD session"

Basically by installing Ubuntu instead of booting from the CD, ubuntu has munted the Windows boot loader.

1258600 2012-02-12 01:54:00 I know I didn't need to install Ubuntu can't really recall why I did sorry about that. I read the article and had already tried those steps.
When I load the Windows CD it says windows is loading files down the bottom and then goes back to the blue screen with the above error.
The first time Ubuntu loaded I was able to switch from in and into Windows no problems now it just brings up the blue screen. Thank for all your help is there anyway I can unmunt the windows boot loader?
