Paul Cov - sorry I forgot about this thread. The show I wanted to see has expired now but I never did get to the bottom of my problem viewing it. Youtube and TVNZ ondemand etc play fine. But yes to your question: my software is all completely current (including Flashplayer, Java, Shockwave flash and Silverlight). I still can't play them, including after the new flashplayer version that came out a few days ago. It's across all my browsers and disabling addons one by one made no difference either. Not sure about the firewall. I'm not game enough to turn that off and connect to the net. It's just the Vista firewall anyway. Thanks for the suggestion. If I ever do figure it out I'll report back! |
