| 1257858 | 2012-02-07 06:55:00 | I gave up years ago any hope of ever contacting the person in charge of any ISP, power company, council, etc. They are hidden behind multiple layers of fobbers-off who are armed with various scenarios such as "paper-work problem", "computer system glitch", "the person handling it left the company", "we had a power failure that day"..... I could go on but I'm sure you know them all. The best you can do is write a stern letter, edit out all the really bad words to make it sound like you are only 'somewhat annoyed' and then post it in the faint hope that it may perhaps reach the one really knowledgeable person in the organisation who can fix it. | coldot (6847) | ||

I've probably called customer service about 5 times today . . . tech support 4 times . . . cancel account twice . . . 1)Sign up with someone else . 2)Don't ring tech support - they don't have anything to do with it . They can't send anything to debt collectors, debt collectors can only chase a debt once it has stopped being under dispute . They haven't provided a service yet, so cannot hold you to any contract - it's broken from their end . | 1257861 | 2012-02-07 18:45:00 | Tech support were called because we were told the connection was all go pctek ... had to call them to get the modem settings as they hadn't sent them to my daughters phone a promised. Everything got sorted last night folks .... 4 hours after requesting someone higher up the food chain to contact us, my daughter gets a call saying everything is sorted. Going to see her this morning a try setting everything up again ... keep watching this space ... :D P.S. Thanks for the link pctek |
