What do you call our own back yard? Our defence relies on Allies keeping the trouble out of our part of the world. By the time we are in our back yard it would be all over, that would mean the Australians and the US couldn't or wouldn't help.

lol, the west is doing all the invading. look at the mainstream media and how it spins and often fabricates stories to sway public opinion on war. During WWII Hitler came to power, he owned most of the newspapers and magazines in Germany, so was able to push propaganda surrounding the Jewish population in Germany at the time. Hitler wanted to make the decision to invade Poland, but he knew the public would oppose this decision. So he orchestrated a false flag 'terrorist' attack on his own soil and blamed it on the Polish as an excuse to invade... This 'terrorist attack' involved Nazi members Göring and Goebbels, with Hitler's approval, hatching a plan to cause panic by burning the Reichstag building and blaming the Communists. The Reichstag was the building in Berlin where the elected members of the republic met to conduct the daily business of government, so the equivalent of Wellingtons Beehive. Sorry about the history lesson but does this kind of ring a bell (911, weapons of mass destruction? lol).

So I guess from a different perspective, Kiwi's shouldn't be risking their lives for a fourth reich, which millions around the world are waking up to btw which is great (pay attention xD). The international private bankers whom own the majority of the worlds wealth, and cleverly engineer wars for financial gain are mostly to blame, along with our own ignorance of course <(^^,)>.

George Bush senior financed the Nazi's. One of the main reasons Hitler was adored by the public was because before he was elected, Germany's currency was hyper inflating/inflated, and a lot of people were out of work and finding it hard to live (recession/depression). As soon as Hitler was 'elected', the economy magically recovered.. If you know that today money is created upon the act of borrowing, then you know that inflation is inevitable, and then you have hyper inflation caused by massive borrowing. Our monetary system is mathematically set up to eventually fail & most of us have failed to notice. So.. George Bush Senior, his Rothschild and other banking buds; engineered a financial collapse, put their puppet in his place (Hitler), fixed the economy and via the state ownership of the majority of media, sold the public on the 'fact' that Hitler was awesome because he was doing so much for the German people and the economy.

Back to the recent - The CIA recruited and trained most, if not all members of Al-Qaeda (Which in English apparently translates to "The Database", which the CIA apparently has kept record of all these trained mujahideen). Originally Al-Qaeda was set up to fight the Russians, but then conveniently became the boogie man to blame on modern false flag terrorist attacks and magically, Osama bin Laden (CIA code name: Tim Osman) was now the head of Al-CIAaeda.

If another country invaded New Zealand and our Prime Minister armed us all to the teeth to protect ourselves, would you be a grateful? I would :)

Gaddafi is arming his people to protect themselves from invaders. NATO is bombing hospitals and schools, and because our government 'likes' America, they're pretty much doing it in our name too.

Do we need 'Allies' to protect us from the boogie man? the terrorist boogie man exists on a much smaller scale than we sometimes think. Apparently, you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than being killed by a true terrorist; the definition of terrorist being muslim extremist. Technically NATO are terrorists and in that case they ARE everywhere <(^^,)> lolz. More people die in the US per year from honey bee stings than they do from terrorism, I've seen the news reports over there, its a crackup; they have a terrorist warning scale on the tv just like we have the fire danger warnings on our road side, except the boogie man is a lot scarier than a fire that probably won't happen because we're pretty sensible people compared to other parts of the world. Having those warning flash up is in my personal opinion quite literally a form of mind control (where's my tinfoil hat?) lol.

In my opinion, the US Empire will unfortunately fall, just like the Roman Empire. More and more Americans are waking up to the fact that their government isn't acting in their best interest, many are speaking out and being ignored. There are protest happening all over the world that go unreported on daily television here in NZ and abroad. Over the last 5 days thousands of Americans have Occupied New York's financial district in protest of the bankers, wall st conglomerates and politicians, just search "Occupy Wall street" on youtube :)

What if there was supposed to be a war, but nobody turned up?

1234380 2011-09-29 19:59:00 mOOseCaNNoN Your post sounds like a typical anti west pro terrorist person and a Gaddafi supporter to boot. No doubt you also support the Syrian dictator as well.. paulw (1826)
1234381 2011-09-29 20:02:00 Our fellow forum-dweller, mOOseCaNNoN, appears to have an interesting worldview, which possibly includes having actually met the Flying Spaghetti Monster and the aliens from Area 51.... :D

Conspiracy theorists rarely (if ever) put together cogent narratives that actually stand up to scrutiny. They are usually great stories though, much like the one above.

This could be something that Dan Brown might like to pick up, expand and publish. His books are a great read because they contain elements of truth surrounded by wild suppositions and madly drawn conclusions, much like the one above.

1234382 2011-09-29 20:24:00 My thoughts:

Fight these terrorists in Afghanistan or fight them at home in NZ and the West.

Good training for the SAS better than running around Waiberia playing make believe soldiers.

If they are volunteers and they know the risks I dont see a problem.

Filthy scum sucking anti alcohol, anti girls having an education, cant wear shorts Taliban deserve to die anyway, must be a pleasure filling their carcasses with .223" diameter holes.

@paulw - I don't support anyone in power, I'm simply offering a different perspective :)
