+1

They also have some good sales, e.g. 2 for 1, or 30 - 50% price reduction.

The last three shirts I bought at Farmers (over the last year or two) have had shoddy buttons - the stitching unravels, and being a guy and not wanting to sew the buggers back on when the thread unravels, I dabbed the stitching on each button with Super Glue. :p

Not top end, but good value for your money.

On the other hand, their sandwiches look and taste like handkerchiefs.

1234001 2011-09-28 04:37:00 Just ordered 3 shirts at $20 each and 1 at $30. Probably went overboard on it...i might return the $30 since its quite similar to one i own.

Could use a belt too. Anyone can recommend a good place for belts? Hallenstein's $25 belt is of such poor quality its an embarassment. Going to check out farmers too...

I only use R.M. Williams and I can say they are a very good quality.

1234004 2011-09-28 05:16:00 Larger is an issue in any shop, I have trouble finding shirts myself (prefer 4XL for the extra length as I'm very tall and not skinny ). Hallensteins is ok, quality tends to be reasonable. Farmers has a good range also. If you like the latest trends I can't help you though :)
I buy way too much clothes at the warehouse myself lol.

There is a shop in the US that is called Big and Tall. Absolutely magic, and I bought shirts for my son who fits that criteria. A pity they don't have them in NZ though.

Not many people know we chaps wear clothes.

Well its only a belt, so i don't really need full grain leather or anything like that. The $25 belts at hallensteins and warehouse just looks horrible though. The $40 belts at Hallenstein with reversible black/brown sides look good, but im hoping to find something like that for a bit cheaper.

And its still an unfortunate fact that female fashion stores outnumber male ones by at least 3 to 1.

And theres no male version of lingerie for some reason.
Question (15792)
1234007 2011-09-28 05:59:00 I would say female fashion shops out number menswear by at least 15 to 1 ...

I think 'Lingerie' is the wrong word to describe men's underwear :illogical

Men's underwear consists of knickers and singlets.

Women's underwear consists of knickers, bras, half-slips, full-slips, corsets, suspenders, camisoles, teddies, singlets and probably another half dozen items that don't immediately spring to mind. You can see why this could fill a shop.
