| 2418 | 1999-07-11 10:48:00 | I have installed Miscrosoft Office 97 on my home PC (PC Direct 333Mhz Pentium 2 - Win98) some time ago. I use Word and Excel regularly and these applications have been working fine. Several months after installing the suite from the office 97 CD-Rom, I wished to use Access 97. The application won't start. Whenever I double click the Access 97 icon on the desktop or select the from the programs menu, I get the message; 'Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license for it on this machine'. I tried reinstalling the Access 97 portion from the CD-Rom, and got the same message. I have the same suite installed on my PC at work (installed from the same CD-Rom) and Access 97 works fine. Why does my home PC not recognise the license for Access 97 ?? |
