| 2390 | 1999-07-08 10:55:00 | I have a PC which I upgraded with a new motherboard featuring a Cyrix6x86MX -PR166 processor and Award Bios. On frequent occaisons this unit locks up during the boot up process during the 'Verifying DMI Pool data phase (before starting to load Windows 98). Generally this occurs on the first start up, turn it of and on and it usually boots successfully although sometimes it will happen a second time. Sometimes it boots happily on the first start up. Any help or suggestions would be apreciated. |
