| 2393 | 1999-07-08 10:55:00 | I hate the plain old drive icons so I created an autorun.inf file and changed the icon on each of my hard drive partitions ie. [autorun] icon=c:\simpfam.exe,3 Where simpfam.exe was a list of icons of the Simpson family. (the third of which was Bart) It worked fine for a while but now my old drive icons have returned and I cant get the autorun.inf to replace them. In the past (under win95) I simply reset the file associations in Tweak UI to get back the icons - but that doesnt seem to work in 98. Even after refreshing the desktop. How can I get win98 to look at my HDD for an autorun.inf? And why did Win98 replace my icons? Thanks Mark |
