I am experiencing total freezes...(except mouse)...when choosing to 'Econoprint' in Word 97.This problem only occurs when I go in to Properties in the print dialog box to change type of print quality..eg...from 'Normal to Econo'...This also happens occasionally in MS Publisher 98 and MS Works 4.5. I have to 'Reset' to get out!...Control-Alt-Delete...does not work! I have tried all the usual Printer/Computer Communication Tests etc. I have a... P166/64MB Ram/8GB Harddrive...Running Win98SE...(Second Edition)...with HP Deskjet 690C Printer.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
