Further to the tip which appeared in your June issue for recovering scratched CDs, try using Sellys Liquid Diamond car polish, again taking care not to apply or remove the polish using a circular motion - always clean in a straight line from the centre of the disk outwards. The liquid polymers (or something) in this polish seems to fill in the scratches and restore the refractive properties of the disk. For those computer users who are discerning enough to also be motorcyclists, try this too on your crash helmet visor - works a treat. |
