After downloading a file onto floppy disk (from lib.stat.cmu.edu - statistics site) I took disc out of drive and went to another site to print some pages, but the computer then began to make the noise it does when there is no disc in floppy drive when you try to open a file that used to be on it, but however this continued for much longer than usual, and my netscape navigator 3.01 froze for a while, I put disc back in during break from the noise and after a couple of minutes managed to exit - why/should this happen? |
