I posted earlier about networking 3.11 and win98. I have subsequently got the two computers talking with a DOS chat program. I suspect now that the problem is my DOS network card driver is causing problems with the win 3.11 driver (As in
win 3.11 doesn't want to use my normal driver, and the two conflict for the IRQ). Does this sound fixable? At the moment I can get the two computers to chat from a win DOS box, or from the DOS prompt, but not both without rebooting between. The card is a NE2000 compatible. |
