| 2554 | 1999-07-31 08:37:00 | HELP!!! This could save me $200 people. I have a PII 266 TI6NL Motherboard. Also just perchased an ASUS AGP-V3800 Video/Graphics card. The deluxe 32meg version. My system memory is 96megs SD-Ram. The two won't/don't work together. My PII works ok with other graphic cards and the AGP-V3800 works ok on other systems (Tried on a AMD 333 board)... I have updated my BIOS. Vendor has checked and re-checked my BIOS settings and they say I have to up-grade my mother board... (Bugger) This board is not old. Not only do they expect me to pay out $570 for this graphics card but also another $200 to upgrade my mother board. I know technolgy moves fast but !!! Is there anything else I can do - I have contacted the board manufacturer via the net and know they won't get back to me in time - I have to let my vender know by monday as there may be a price difference on the motherboard after that day. Please h e l p thanx |
