| 2595 | 1999-08-05 00:04:00 | Hello, I have come across a really weird problem/bug. There does not seem to be any fixes about it on the MS site. I am running Win98 SE, with Office 2000 disk 1 & 2, I have found that when I use outlook, dial in and retreive mail the close outlook..1st outlook 2000 does not leave the dialog box...'please wait while MS Outlook exits', 2nd if I pres CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up task manager....outlook and winword are still running according to task manager!!!, really weird, I have tried to reinstall and the problem still happens. Is it Office2k or Win98 SE? PLease help...it takes up an extra 5-8% of resources and it is a reall hassle to have to go into task manager every time I exit outlook.
