| 2629 | 1999-08-08 07:58:00 | Hi all... I'm frustrated that so many programs are active when Windows 95 starts up... things like MSN Newsalert and AOL Messenger. I really don't want them there. However, I can't track down where they are being launched from. The only two items in the C:\WINDOWS\START MENU\STARTUP folder are actually the programs I _need_, and the ones I don't need aren't listed anywhere at all. Does anyone know where startup programs usually hide their information? Thanks. - Kerry Du Pont |
