2618	1999-08-06 13:39:00	Dear PC World, I am running Windows 98 on a Celeron 400 and have a problem with the computer shutting down. I follow the normal procedure - Start/Shutdown and then click OK with the checkmark in the shutdown the computer box. A Windows 98 screen saying that the computer is shutting down then comes up, the screen goes blank, but then the computer doesn't shutdown, it restarts. The computer boots up all over again, and I have to shut it down a second time, after which it successfully shuts down. I think the problem may be something to do with the modem as it is always after I have been on the Internet that the computer fails to shutdown. Paul Godfrey.	Guest (0)
