I received a CD of IE5 from microsoft and thought I would try it. Not bad but I decided not to keep using it. When I went to uninstall it I could not and got a cryptic message telling me to reinstall to uninstall which I did. Another cryptic message said there is no uninstall program. I did not have IE4 installed yet everything I can find in the MS Knowledge base suggests uninstalling IE5 is linked to IE4. All I want to do is remove all traces of IE5 without reformatting my hard drive. Can anybody offer any possible solution? |
