| 2684 | 1999-08-14 23:40:00 | Recently I have had to reset my computer clock every day eg last night I turned off the PC at around 23.35 and it was reading approx the same time when I turned it on this morning. Currently it reads 00.38 but the actual time is 10.21! My wheel mouse is very sluggish at start up. After 10 - 15 minutes it revives and acts normally. It is a MS Wheel Mouse Serial and PS/2 Compatible. When I follow the Windows Help instructions I eventually get a message telling me that the device has problems but no indication what they are. I also get a messaage insisting ttat I don't have this device installed. The Device Manager Dialog box indicates that I have both Wheel and Standard Serial Mouse installed. I would appreciate advice / help with these problems. Please note that I am not a technical person - more like one who drives a car competently but knows little of its works! Thanks Don Hutton |
