2671 1999-08-13 04:39:00 I think Win 98 ships with MSVCRT.DLL version 6.00.8168.0000. but when I checked the version on my computer it is 5.00.7128. Is there a way to update the .DLL files for Win 98??

I need to update the .Dll files on my computer so Norton Utilities 4.0 Speed
Disk will run properly.

The Mfc42.DLL in the Norton folder is version 6.00.8267.0 in Win 98 it is
version 4.21.7160

The Msvcrt40.DLL in the Norton folder is version 4.21.0000in Win 98 it is
version 4.22.0000

The MSVCRT.DLL in the Norton folder is version 6.00.8267.0 and 5.00.7303 in
Win 98 it is version 5.00.7128

Please help my with a way to make it possible to update these files and tell me why the DLL files seem to revert to older versions.(if win98 does ship with 6.00.8168.0000. why has it got 5.00.7128. now??)
I have Microsoft Libraries Update 2.0 (version 2,0,0,0),Windows 98 System Update (version 4,10,0,2000),Windows 98
Year 2000 Update (version4,10,0,2000), Windows 98 Service Pack 1
(version 4,10,0,2000) successfully installed.
Both of these messages are at Nortons On-Line Help and both are caused by
incorrect .DLL files in Win 98 according the Norton.

Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library
Runtime Error! Program :C\ProgramFiles\NortonUtilities\SD.EXE
abnormal program termination

I also get this error message when I Click on the Norton icon on the Desktop

Vbox Status
Required resources are busy.
Execution will continue when they are free
WHERE DO I GET LATER VERSION S OF THESE .DLL FILES AND HOW DO I INSTALL THEM????
