| 2796 | 1999-08-25 12:48:00 | Dear PC World, Does reducing a modem's maximum speed (say from 115200 to 57600) reduce the speed at which web pages can be loaded from the Net? Does reducing the speed increase or decrease the likelihood of being disconnected from the Net? And does reducing the modem's maximum speed reduce the speed at which files (e.g. software) can be downloaded from the Net? Paul Godfrey |
