A few days ago I selected 'precision as displayed' in the TOOLS, OPTIONS, CALCULATION, box to do a specific job in one work book. After the job was finished I deselected it. Now I find in all my other excel files whenever I enter whole numbers in a cell the decimal place shifts two places to the left when the cell is deselected. ie enter 14, deselect cell, 14 changes to 0.14. If I enter 14.0 the .0 drops off to leave me with 14. There is no formatting in the cells. Existing data has not been affected and formulae still work. This happens throughout all my worksheets. |
