| 2786 | 1999-08-24 10:19:00 | We have a 56k modem. We were getting connection speeds of 44000bps and 36000bps when busy. We were getting disconnected regularly and had the lines tested. Telecom tested and replaced the jackpoints. We then installed the latest modem drivers from HP. Our connection speed is now only 31200bps regardless of time of day. We are no longer getting disconnected but the speed has dropped. What has happened and how can we fix so that the connection speed is again 44000bps. Modem: LTWIN K56flex Data/Fax |
