| 2777 | 1999-08-23 06:12:00 | Hi there.. I just want to make sure that I'm not mistaken by my IDE cable. I intend to add a third hard drive. At the moment the IDE cable on my Secondary (connect to CDROM) has only one port (which is used by the CDROM). I know that the Primary and Secondary should have two port each, make a total of 4 IDE devices can be installed. Surprisingly though, the IDE cable on my Primary has three ports (two currently used). Is this supposed to be used ? |
