I have 2 icons on my desk top that I can't get rid of. I installed a demo version of Mcaffee 'Nuts & Bolts'. When I removed it, 2 icons were still on my desktop. I can't drag them into the recycle bin. Right clicking does not bring up a 'Delete' option, only 'open, create shortcut, or prroperties' Selecting any one of these only produces an error message, ie can't find .exe file. The software was removed OK, and there are no remaining files. Trying to remove them in windows explorer does not work either. I just can't delete them! Thanks for any help. |
