2849	1999-09-01 02:45:00	I am unable to successfully install IE5.0 from disk. I suspect it is something to do with my running Norton Utilities. I deactivated Norton Antivirus prior to downloading IE5.0 but unbeknown to be other programmes such as Norton Protected recycle bin were still operating. I get an error message along the lines of everything installed but can't actually progress to set up. I've now tried installing with all other programmes turned off. However the installation programme detects that it has failed before and asks whether I wish to start again either from scratch or from where I last left off. Neither way works. Nor does tring standard or custom install. I've tried deleting everything in the protected recycle bin but it has made no difference. I am currently running IE3.0 on a Pentium 100, 32mb ram with 2.0mb hard disk (400mb free space). Microsofts web page help doesn't appear to cover IE5.0 yet. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
