| 2840 | 1999-08-30 09:25:00 | I' planning cellular interneting. I'm prepared to call the local number. I have a Q do I need to have Telecom Mobile Data or Vodafone's one. ie. if I have all equip can I call my ISP like that or do I need to have a service opened up?? Both companies says I need to and my 200 mins can't be used for internet. If I don;t have the services set-up can I dial like that and have my 200 min taken off my account?? Has anyone tried it??? Also I have a IBM Thinkpad 380ED 166MMX with 32MB Ranm runing win98 original with all the IBM latest drivers. When I select logoff its sweet but when I select restart or shutdown or restart in ms-dos mode it shows the win98 screen and stalls forever --> does not say its now ok to shut down computer. I also have norton systemworks 2.0 setup with mcafee 4.0.2. Everytime I have to powerdown and then powerback up. A lot of times when I do a norton system check it finds no errors but each time I do it a lot of time it works for each restart/shutdown. |
