| 2815 | 1999-08-28 04:52:00 | Every time I or the task scheduler run the defragment program of Windows 98, I am presented with a message box that says Drivespace asserion error in Line 222 of module drive.cpp Clicking the OK button causes the machine to lock so solidly that Ctrl-Alt-Del does nothing. I have tried restoring all the files containing the string 'drive.cpp' from the Windows CD-Rom. Running Defrag in safe-mode works, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having scheduled defrags. This one has got me stuck. |
