| 1259455 | 2012-02-16 03:55:00 | Hi there. Having looked into a couple of (completely separate) hacked webmail a/c's, I was wondering if there is a vulnerability in these services that hackers are exploiting ?? brute force attempts to get in ?? Looking at the yahoo a/c login history the hacker logged in with a mobile device (phone?) from Spain It seems a bit strange, a hardcore spammer would use a hacked email a/c to send out thousands of emails, not just send them to that webmail a/c's stored adress list, as happened both times . Anyway, yahoo made it bl8ddy hard to find how to access the login history via help pages (why) here it is if anyone wants to check there a/c api.login.yahoo.com google has a similar feature to veiw login history |
