1259292 2012-02-15 20:34:00 Where would i buy a normal usb cable?

It's normal usb on one end, and a smaller connection on the other. The kind that's used for digital cameras and the like.

www.discountcablestore.com one of these. It doesn't need to be long, just short. Our new puppy of 3 or so weeks wrecked my usb cable which was sitting on my bed as i fell asleep early last night.

I'm guessing dick smith will have these? as i'll be getting one today, in an hour of so proberbly

1259293 2012-02-15 20:40:00 There's two types, Mini USB and Micro USB, it varies between cameras so make sure you get the right kind. Then, there's the semi-crazy ones that are totally different :p

Anyways the one you linked to is a Mini USB, so grab something like that from PBTech.

1259294 2012-02-15 21:02:00 O, thanks. It's mini usb, as both the camera, and my mp4 player uses the same cord. goodiesguy (15316)

1259296 2012-02-15 21:33:00 Even places like Bunnings now have a wide selection of cables in their TV aerials / cables area. Paul.Cov (425)
1259297 2012-02-15 22:07:00 Yeah I saw them in Woolworths even for $15 the other day... Same for HDMI cables, $12! Chilling_Silence (9)
1259298 2012-02-15 23:40:00 Cables direct 2 day service and great prices gary67 (56)
1259299 2012-02-16 02:37:00 .
Choose carefully though, I have at least 6 different USB/device interface styles (possibly more), and some seemingly identical cables that don't work with other equipment, like my bluetooth handsfree unit for example which won't chage with any other cable and likewise also my NAVMANs, which also charge only from their own cable, yet they have a standard and very common plug format .

Go figure!

Cheers
