OK seriously --- Do you have a Nvidia Firewall installed on that remote computer you are logging into -- It could be blocked through Nvidia.

One thing to keep an eye on, since you are doing that Via remote desktop, team Viewer by default will alter graphic setting depending on its specs ( wont affect FF though)

1258942 2012-02-13 06:24:00 I don't think it has the Nvidia firewall, though I did wonder if Teamviewer was to blame... pcuser42 (130)
1258943 2012-02-13 06:30:00 Team viewer will only dull the graphics back to basic, not cause that in FF.

Its possible the profile is corrupted in FF - Have you tried creating a new one ?

Does it only show blank/black like that in FF, or is IE the same ?

To open the profile manager, to play about or make a new one, click start, type in run, open it, and type in firefox.exe -ProfileManager

1258944 2012-02-13 07:19:00 I tried with a clean profile and clean install, same problem, and the Import wizard was black as well. pcuser42 (130)
1258945 2012-02-13 07:42:00 Seen similar happen in browsers when using Full Screen & Video, so this is only a stab in the dark ( no pun intended) --- With FF open, right click next to a tab, click Menu Bar ( to make it show) - From Tools/ Options / Advanced "tab" - Under Browsing, untick 'Use hardware acceleration when available' -- Close FF, reopen.

Otherwise - Assume its only in FF ? Cant see by the Picture since its only in plain view, -- doesn't have Adblock installed does it ? Also what AV/ Security/Firewall is installed

Will let the owner know :)

IE at least is fine.

doesn't have Adblock installed does it ?

If it did (I don't think so), it doesn't now. :p

Also what AV/ Security/Firewall is installed

I'm assuming MSE, the laptop owner has learned to hate on Norton. :D
