Click Help / About Internet Explorer, Looking at mine, the latest is 9.0.8112.16421

1258938 2012-02-13 19:38:00 it says internet explorer has latest version but cant upgrade Bit odd, message doesn't sound right, if it has the latest version then yeah, of course it cant upgrade ( obvious really) ;)

IF you want to check, remove IE9 and try again, see if this helps:

Open programs and Features, top left, click on "View Installed Updates", internet explorer 9 should be in the list, (under Microsoft Windows section) try looking near the bottom possibly.
Assuming its there, select it, then click uninstall, it will remove IE9 and roll you back to the default IE8 that comes with Windows 7. You'll need to reboot, then you can try putting IE9 back.

If its not in the list then IE9 will have to be removed another way - Try this (support.microsoft.com)
